The implementation of the Turkish REACH legislation goes into the next phase<\/b>.\u00a0
<\/span>Since December 23, 2017 Turkey is in the process of implementing the “Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals” (KKDIK). The registration process for substances that are manufactured or placed on the Turkish market, either as such or in mixtures or in articles<\/b> with an intended release of at least 1 ton per year, is divided into 2 phases:<\/span><\/p>

  • Pre-registration: before 31 December 2020 (in difference to EU REACH there is no “late pre-registration” phase<\/strong><\/li>
  • Registration: from 31 December 2020 until 31 December 2023<\/b><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Substances that have been pre-registered within the specified deadline (PRE-SIEF) may be placed on the market or imported until 31 December 2023. Substances that have not been registered within the registration deadline (31 December 2023), may no longer be manufactured or imported into Turkey after the deadline (if they exceed the limit of 1 tonne\/year).<\/span><\/p>
